This work was born in fire—mirroring both the unrelenting wildfires across California and the quiet collapse of my own world. Upon stepping back from the finished piece, imagery emerged and some later seen only through distance and reflection. From destruction rises a story of grief, perception, and the quiet resilience that renews and reshapes life into unexpected forms.
